About Tunstall Content
Hi. I’m Heather Tunstall, and Tunstall Content is my gig.
My journey to content marketing started with a magazine journalism degree from Ohio University, followed by seven years of conceptualizing, organizing, writing and editing copy for trade and consumer publications. I decided somewhere along the way that aside from writing features, I really enjoyed problem solving and figuring out what makes businesses successful. So, in 2012, I went back to school to get my master’s degree in International Marketing Management from Boston University. That added a whole new dimension to how I think about storytelling.
Now, I write copy ranging from quick, quippy social media posts and blogs to feature-length profiles and video scripts. I’ve been the voiceover talent for commercials and editorial videos, and have interviewed the likes of Richard Branson, Buzz Aldrin, engineers, chefs, business owners, and most of the Cleveland Indians 2016 World Series team (and only fangirled a little bit). I’ve developed strategies that detail what types of content would work best for a particular audience, which channels to deliver it on, what the timeline should be, and how to measure its success.
I love traveling, good food, my family and friends, baseball, rock music and being outside. I never stop learning. I’ve been to more than 20 countries and still feel like I have a million places to go and lessons to learn. Everyone I meet and every experience I have helps to give me new perspective, and I tap into all of that when I write.
